So why another tracking app?

There are many good solutions to track your device but they all have a number of things in common.

First of all they rely on external servers to keep your position logged. Which from a privacy perspective is not the ideal situation. Why give away your position to a third party? TrackByMail sends location updates directly to your email, eliminating the central storage.

Secondly: bandwidth. Using TrackByMail you can configure to update your position in a fully configureable interval from 10 seconds to 24 hours. When abroad this will substantially save you on roaming cost. You can even choose to sent basic or rich emails to reduce the bandwidth consumption even further.
